Connect to Another Host Using Telnet

You can Telnet from the current CLI session to another host. For more information see Starting the Telnet Client.

Run telnet {vr vr_name} [host_name | remote_ip] {port} .

User-created VRs are supported only on the platforms listed for this feature in the Switch Engine v33.1.1 Licensing Guide document.

If the TCP port number is not specified, the Telnet session defaults to port 23. If the virtual router name is not specified, the Telnet session defaults to VR-Mgmt. Only VT100 emulation is supported.
